ORIGIN OF THE NAME
According to Greek mythology, the Naiads were freshwater nymphs. His myths tell us of beautiful young men who used to love mortals with their grace and beauty. The essence of a Naiad was linked to its body of water, so that if it dried up, it would die.
And the Greek Word Naiads means “flow” and “running water”. Those were the decisive reasons why we chose to give our luminaire this name, creating a link between those mythological beings and Nayade CR.
LIGHT & WATER
The delicate movement of the water conceals its incomparable strength and allows Nayade CR to be reborn every time the light passes through its crystal body.In it, the complexity of light and water come to life within it and show us its true purpose: to be a reminder of the transcendence of water.
The water inside Náyade CR also fulfills another important function. Being able to observe water in motion allows the brain to relax and give way to creative thoughts. It is inspired by nature and recreates patterns so unique, that they only originate naturally behind a cascade that is illuminated by the sun. Evoking unspeakable emotions and experiences that subtly involve and interact with the user.
SOUND
Inside you can hear the gentle whisper of the water produced by its fall through its crystalline shell, imitating the sound that occurs when water moves through streams or dances in fountains in squares. This unique feature makes the Nayade CR luminaire able to offer us sound experiences that can lead us to a conscious meditative state.
